Jean joined Kardos Scanlan in February 2021 as an Associate. Prior to joining Kardos Scanlan Jean worked in Mills Oakley for 1.5 years in the corporate advisory team. Other experiences include:
• 3.5 years at the Banking, Finance and Major Projects practice area in Baker McKenzie; and
• 1.5 years at the Malaysian capital markets and securities regulator (Securities Commission of Malaysia), drafting laws, regulations and
policies relating to the capital markets.
Jean is experienced in a variety of corporate matters, ranging from private and public M&A and takeovers, capital raisings, IPOs, corporate advisory matters and general commercial matters. She is also experienced in advising on debt capital market transactions, corporate finance and project financing matters for bilateral and syndicated loans in both domestic and cross-border deals.
Jean was admitted as a barrister-at-law of England & Wales in 2013, an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014 and admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2018. Jean graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2012 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
