Josie Marshall

Josie specialises in private mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and corporate advisory.

She also regularly advises clients on a broad range of commercial matters including distribution agreements, implementing employee share schemes, financial distress and insolvency related issues.

Recent transactions include the sale of a majority stake in a large agricultural business to a Canadian Pension Fund; the sale of an orthopedics business to a UK based acquirer and capital raising for a creative agency focusing on virtual reality education tools.

Josie has also acted as a director of The Disability Trust, a not-for-profit organisation that is committed to providing professional care, services and advocacy to people with disabilities and their families.

Josie graduated from the University of New South Wales with  LLB/BA (Hons).  Prior to joining Kardos Scanlan, Josie worked in two top tier law firms in Sydney in the restructuring, insolvency and corporate advisory groups.

She has been with Kardos Scanlan since its foundation in August 2010, joining as an associate and in June 2014 moving to a senior associate position. Josie became a Partner in 2023.
