Josie specialises in private mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and corporate advisory. Josie also regularly advises clients on a broad range of commercial matters including distribution agreements, implementing employee share schemes, financial distress and insolvency related issues.
Recent transactions include, the sale of a majority stake in a large agricultural business to a Canadian Pension Fund, the sale of an orthopaedics business to a UK based acquirer and capital raising for a creative agency focussing on virtual reality education tools.
Josie has also acted as a director of The Disability Trust, a not-for-profit organisation that is committed to providing professional care, services and advocacy to people with disabilities and their families. Josie graduated from the University of New South Wales with LLB/BA (Hons).
Josie has been with Kardos Scanlan since its foundation in August 2010, joining as an associate and in June 2014 moving to a senior associate position. Prior to joining Kardos Scanlan Josie worked in two top tier law firms in Sydney in the restructuring, insolvency and corporate advisory groups.
