Sarina Roppolo

Sarina primarily advises and acts for public and private companies, financial institutions and individual clients, in a wide range of advisory, insolvency and litigious matters.

Sarina has acted for many clients in various matters including:

1. Major private public company – advising in all aspects of the running of its business and its governance;
2. the major funder of Australia’s largest recent insolvent group advising with regard to the funder’s bilateral and syndicated facilities, its interactions with the Group’s deed administrators and with regard to a dispute involving invoice financing;
3. in the insolvency and subsequent restructure of a large manufacturing and franchising group together with a number of disputes that arose as a result which were litigated in the Supreme Court of NSW; and
4. in a contractual dispute that was successfully litigated in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court.

Sarina also has expertise in the field of building and property development disputes acting for either of the builder, the property owner/developer or funder.

While spending a lot of time in Court, Sarina also takes special care in advising clients on the many options available to them to avoid litigation and the pitfalls associated with it.

Sarina was recognised as a 2019 Best Lawyer for Insolvency and Reconstruction in 2018 as published in the Australian Financial Review.
